AI Security Engineer

Context

FuturWork recruits AI Security Engineers to secure the LLM applications and AI agents our clients put into production. Agents now call tools, read data and change records with real credentials. Our clients need engineers who can bring them under the same security controls as people and applications.

Your day-to-day missions

• Assess the security of LLM applications and AI agents before go-live, using threat modeling based on the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications and for Agentic Applications
• Design access control for AI agents: dedicated identities, least privilege, secrets in a vault, integration with existing IAM and PAM
• Deploy and configure AI and MCP gateways such as Kong AI Gateway: authentication, tool access control, rate limits and logging
• Test AI systems against prompt injection, data leakage and tool misuse (AI red teaming)
• Connect AI logs and alerts to the SOC and SIEM
• Help clients review AI use cases against NIS2 and the EU AI Act
• Write security guidelines for AI projects and coach development teams

Your profile

Must-have

• Hands-on experience in application security, cloud security or identity and access management
• Practical knowledge of LLM and AI agent risks: prompt injection, excessive privileges, data leakage, supply chain risk in tools and MCP servers
• Cloud: Azure or AWS
• Identity: OAuth 2.0 / OIDC, Entra ID or an equivalent identity provider
• Scripting: Python
• Fluent English
• Fluency in at least one of Belgium's national languages: French or Dutch

Nice to have

• Experience with an API or AI gateway (Kong or equivalent)
• Experience with a PAM platform (CyberArk, WALLIX)
• Certifications relevant to the role: AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty, OSCP, CISSP
