SecOps Engineer

Context

FuturWork recruits SecOps Engineers to detect, analyse and respond to security incidents for our clients. Our client needs most often combine Azure, Linux and identity (Azure AD, Active Directory) with SIEM and EDR tools.

Your day-to-day missions

• Monitor SIEM alerts and dashboards, and detect network, endpoint and cloud anomalies
• Analyse, qualify and respond to security incidents (triage, escalation, remediation, documentation)
• Tune detection rules (IDS/IPS, WAF, NDR, SIEM)
• Follow threat intelligence: CVEs, IOCs and MITRE ATT&CK techniques
• Manage vulnerabilities (scans, analysis, remediation follow-up)
• Secure and administer related network components (firewall, DNS, proxy)
• Take part in on-call duty depending on the assignment (some missions are 24/7)
• Produce follow-up deliverables: incident reports, dashboards and regulatory reporting such as NIS2 for Belgian clients

• On-call duty may be required, depending on the assignment

Your profile

Must-have

• 3 to 7 years of experience in security operations
• Cloud: Azure, AWS
• Systems: Linux, Windows Server
• Identity: Azure AD, Active Directory
• Scripting: Python
• Infrastructure as code and automation: Terraform, Ansible
• Containers: Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with SIEM/EDR tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar or CrowdStrike
• Fluent English
• Fluency in at least one of Belgium's national languages: French or Dutch

Nice to have

• Certifications relevant to the role: Security+, SC-200, GCIH, CISSP
