Cloud Engineer

Context

FuturWork recruits Cloud Engineers to design, build and run cloud platforms for our clients. Azure is the cloud that comes up most often in our client needs, followed by AWS.

Your day-to-day missions

• Design, deploy and maintain cloud architectures (Azure first, AWS or GCP depending on the client)
• Build infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep/ARM)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Script and automate operations (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Deploy and run containerised workloads (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS)
• Monitor availability, performance and costs (monitoring, FinOps)
• Secure cloud resources (IAM, RBAC, Azure Policy, landing zones) and keep them compliant
• Document architectures and hand over knowledge to run teams

Your profile

Must-have

• 3 to 7 years of experience in production cloud environments
• Cloud: Azure, AWS
• Containers and orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker
• Infrastructure as code: Terraform
• Scripting: Python
• CI/CD: Azure DevOps
• Fluent English
• Fluency in at least one of Belgium's national languages: French or Dutch

Nice to have

• A cloud certification relevant to the role (AZ-104, AZ-305, AWS Solutions Architect)
